Rayne's Miss Merry Christmas, Master Noel Pageant set

Gamma Kappa Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi and the City of Rayne, sponsors of the annual Little Miss Merry Christmas and Master Noel Contests, have announced plans for the 2013 event slated for Sunday, Nov. 17, with applications now being accepted.
The contest is open to all first and second grade students with a Rayne address. Deadline for the early registration fee for $20 is Saturday, Nov. 16, with entries received at the door an additional $5.
The contest for boys and girls will be held Sunday, Nov. 17, at 1 p.m. at the Rayne Civic Center Mural Room. Attire for the contest is Sunday best for both the male and female contests. The new honorees will be awarded a crown, banner and trophy. First and second runners-up will receive trophies.
Entry forms for the contest were sent home with first and second graders at Martin Petitjean Elementary and Rayne Catholic Elementary and are also available by contacting Chairperson Ginger Comeaux at 337-334-9467 after 5:30 p.m.
