LAFAYETTE - A Rayne man was among three victims in a shooting early Sunday morning in downtown Lafayette.
Identified only as a 34-year-old male, the Rayne man reportedly suffered a gunshot wound to the head. He was transported to a hospital and remains in critical condition.

Funding efforts for the Rayne Veterans Park got an unexpected boost in the form of recent donations from members of the Privat family.
Motorized wheelchairs/scooters and riding lawnmowers on city streets are nuisances to drivers, but, at present, there’s little that can be done to
