Louisiana's multi-ethnic French Creole/Bastille Day Festival

Ladies and Gentlmen, vendors and volunteer French music and/or Zydeco bands are all being welcomed to participate in our new Louisiana's Multi-ethnic French Creole/Bastille Day Celebration on July 14, 9:00 am at Evangeline Parish Courthouse square!

Volunteer donations and benefactors contributing $50.00 will get free printed advertisement in all of our statewide publicity and e-newsletter-La Voix de Creoles francais and will be saluted at the festival!

Contributors of $100.00 will also be saluted and receive honorable mention in our e-newsletter and receive an autographed book, Louisiana's French Creole Culinary & Linguistic Traditions: Facts vs Fiction Before and Since Cajunization by authors John laFleur II, Brian Costello & Dr. Ina Fandrich of or John's famous cookbook, A Cultural Legacy CREOLE Gourmet Secrets of Louisiana -as supply allows.

Tables will be available and electrical hook-ups. Bring your own lawn chairs/coolers.

Musicians need to set up and be ready to play from 10:30 am-1::30 pm. Vendors need to be installed and operational by 10:00 am.

The funding is to be used exclusively towards funding a beautiful sculpture which will represent ALL of our different ethnic groups who helped create our shared French Creole history, French food, languages, social traditions such as Mardi Gras and the Tournoi along with our French music traditions.
