Maryline Lopez

Funeral services were held at Gossen Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. for Maryline Lopez, 67, who died Tuesday, March 10, 2009 in American Legion Hospital in Crowley.

Interment was in Leger Cemetery, rural Rayne.

Surviving are her husband, Paul Austin Lopez of Rayne; daughter, Cynthia Gauthreaux of Rayne; son, Justin Lopez of Rayne; daughter, Janice Lopez of Rayne; father, Dallas Joseph Thibodeaux of Rayne; two sisters, Anne LeBeau and Eva Private, both of Rayne; brother, Allen Thibodeaux of Monroe; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Paige Marie Lopez; mother, Edmae Istre Thibodeaux; one sister, Claudia Mathews; and one step-brother, Mervin Istre.

She was born Thursday, August 7, 1941 in Rayne, daughter of Dallas Joseph Thibodeaux and the late Edmae Istre Thibodeaux.

Friends were received Tuesday, March 10, 2009, from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m., and Wednesday, March 11, 2009, from 8:00 a.m. until service time at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne.
