Michelle Egle, Andrew Ward

Mr. and Mrs. John Egle, Sr. and Rose Dove are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter,

Michelle Ann, to Andrew Taylor Ward. The couple will be united in the holy sacrament of marriage on May 8, 2009 at the Cathedral of Saint John the Evangelist in Lafayette.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Billy and Earline Dove of Houma, and the late Jack and Marion Egle of Golden Meadow.

Michelle is a 2001 graduate of St. Thomas More High School and a 2005 graduate of Louisiana State University, with a bachelor’s degree in information systems and decision sciences. She is currently employed as the human resources manager for Hub City Industries in Lafayette.

The prospective groom is the son of John and Suzie Ward, and Burleigh and Jill Doga. He is the grandson of Jerry and Carolyn Ward of Eunice, and the late H.G. and Dorothy Jackson of Eunice.

Andrew is a 1997 graduate of Jennings High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, with a bachelor’s degree in advertising. He is also a decorated combat veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, and received an honorable discharge after six years in the United States Army National Guard. He is currently employed as an account manager with Hub City Industries, in Lafayette.

After a honeymoon in Italy, the couple will reside in Lafayette.
