Nanette "Molly" Trahan

Rayne - Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Monday, August 29, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. for Nanette "Molly" Trahan, 55 who died Friday, August 26, 2011 at her residence in Rayne, LA.

Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2, Rayne, LA.

Surviving are her husband of 37 years, Ronnie Trahan of Rayne, one daughter, Marialine Trahan Murrell and husband Chad Murrell of Rayne, one son, Gregory Scott Menard and wife Marcia Leblanc Menard of Rayne, one granddaughter, Madison Eileen Murrell of Rayne, one grandson, Jerry Scott Menard of Rayne, two sisters, Linda Menard Bustamante and husband Jaime Bustamante of New Orleans, Jeanne Menard Guidry and husband Patrick Guidry of Branson, MO, one brother, Daniel James Menard and wife Judy R. Menard of Scott, LA, one sister-in-law, Nancy C. Menard Moore of Mire.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Judith Ann Trahan, one son, John Paul Trahan, parents, Ernest "Pete" Menard and Eileen Falcon Menard, one brother, Ernest Jerry Menard.

She was born Sunday, December 18, 1955 in Rayne, LA, daughter of the late Ernest "Pete" Menard and the late Eileen Falcon Menard.

Molly was co-owner of Trahan Foods Inc. in Rayne for 32 years and Local Cake Boss.

In Lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made in Mrs. Nanette "Molly" Trahan's name to: Rayne Catholic Elementary, 407 S. Polk St., Rayne, LA 70578 or Notre Dame High School, 910 North Eastern Ave., Crowley, LA 70526.

A rosary will be recited at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Sunday, August 28, 2011.

Friends will be received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, LA. Sunday, August 28, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Monday, August 29, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m..
