Special donation made to Rayne High School

Following the official dedication of the Myrta Fair Craig Press Box, family members donated a new book for the school's library, “Barefoot, Bloodied and Bruised, The Story of Louisiana Six-Man Football,” authored by Coach Barrett Murphy.

Mrs. Craig's son, Bob Craig, RHS alum and member of the 1944 Rayne High School 6-Man State Championship Team, donated the book to the school and accepted by RHS Principal Wendall Prudhomme, special guest in attendance for a social held following the dedication.

The Rayne High 6-man state champions were highlighted in the book and is sure to be enjoyed by the student body.
