“I have a proven desire and ability to serve the citizens of the city of Crowley. By electing me to the city council, you will have a voice there that will speak for you.

“I have been married to Maureen McBride DuBose for the past 47 years. We have two children and six grandchildren living in or near Crowley. Having a safe and decent place to live for me, my family and for you is very important to me.

“I will be walking the neighborhoods in the next several months talking to you and listening to what you want and expect from your city government.

“I humbly request your vote and support in the upcoming election. It has been my honor to have served you in the past. Please allow me this opportunity to continue this service to you.

“As previously stated in other announcements for public services, I encourage all eligible voters to register and to utilize their constitutional right to vote in the November 4 election.”
