Bibby Basketball Set By Rayne Recreation Department

As announced by Rayne Recreation Director Dwayne Derise, registration for the 2015-2016 Biddy Basketball season has begun with forms being accepted for players between 7 and 14 years of age. Registration forms were also distributed to all local schools.
Please notice the program is now being offered to more age groups. The Rayne Recreation Program has joined the Dale Brown Youth Basketball Association for all-stars.
The last day for registration is Saturday, Nov. 28, at the Civic Center Green Room. Registration fee is $20 per participant.
Registration dates are: 5-6 p.m. on Nov. 2-5, 19-12, 16-19, 23-26, then from 9-10 a.m. on Nov. 14, 21 and 28 at the Green Room.
Parents may also register their children at City Hall during regular business hours until Nov. 30th. Any registration collected at tryouts (Nov. 30) will be charged a late fee of $10.
Tryouts will be held for the boys’ leagues on Monday, Nov. 24, at the following times at the Civic Center:
Boys Iddy (9-10 years): 6 p.m.
Boys Middy (11-12 years): 6:30 p.m.
Boys Biddy (13-14): 7:15 p.m.
Boys Lil Biddy (7-8 years) tryouts will be held at 5:30 p.m. at the Ball Room.
Tryouts for girls’ leagues will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 1, at the following times at the Civic Center:
Girls Lil Biddy (7-8 years): 5:30 p.m.
Girls Iddy (9-10 years(: 6:00 p.m.
Girls Middy (11-12 years): 6:30 p.m.
Girls Bddy (13-14 years): 7:15 p.m.
Please remember the cutoff date for age groups is Sept. 1, 2015.
Parental and volunteer support is also encouraged for another successful season. Active participation of all parents and volunteers are urged during Biddy Basketball season either as a coach, assistant coach or referee. For more information, call 334-6644.
