Broussard, Fogleman heading to runoff

And then, there were two.
Out of a field of four -- Oliver Bernard, A. "Jimmy" Broussard, Scott Fogleman and Berton Gauthreaux -- none were able to pull a straight majority of the vote leaving Broussard and Fogleman to duke it out for one more month to fill the coming vacancy of Crowley chief of police.
Fogleman's 37 percent was followed closely by Broussard's 34 percent.
Gauthreaux finished third with 19 percent; Bernard finished fourth with 10 percent.
The Crowley area saw 34.8 percent of its voters turnout to the polls.
