Ahead of the final month of her reign, Miss Crowley 2013, Allison Hoffpauir, dresses a table full of photos and more memories from her 2013-14 reign. The table, along with others created by Teen Miss and Junior Miss Crowley, will be on display at City Hall during the month of July. The 2014 Miss Crowley pageants will be held July 26, and the final day to register to compete is Tuesday, July 1. Those interested can register at Crowley City Hall from noon until 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The Crowley Professional Women’s Club recently accepted donations of the crowns for the 2014 Miss, Teen Miss and Junior Miss Crowley Queens.

The new royalty will be crowned on July 26 at the Grand Opera House of the South.

Miss Crowley 2014 will receive a beautiful crown which is compliments of Dugas, Soileau & Breaux, LLC.

The crown which will be presented to Teen Miss Crowley 2014 has been graciously donated by Vicki Ramos of Ruddock’s Bakery.

Junior Miss Crowley 2014 will be presented with a crown and banner which have been donated by Sheriff Wayne A. Melancon.

The Crowley Professional Women’s Club would like to extend their sincere gratitude to these local businesses and individuals for their generous and continued support of the annual event.

Contestant applications are still available for young ladies between the ages of 12 and 22 and who meet the requirements set forth on the application. They can be obtained by sending an email to misscrowleypageants@yahoo.com, visiting the Crowley Queens Facebook page, or by calling 223-0440.

Applications will only be accepted on July 1, from noon to 5 pm at Crowley City Hall.

Tickets for the pageant will go on sale on Sunday, July 13, for a cost of $15 each. They can be purchased through the Grand Opera House of the South box office, both at the location and online.

Ticketholders will be granted access to the pageants and also enjoy a cocktail reception in honor of the new queens immediately following the pageants at Le Grand Hall. Rice Palace will provide catering for the event and a cash bar will be available to those in attendance, along with DJ entertainment.
