Fading ice helping roadways open

The Crowley Police Department has announced that the John N. John Bridge in Crowley has been reopened.

The police also urge residents to use extreme caution when driving even though ice is fading.

Interstate 10 Eastbound, near milepost 92 (Duson) has been completely reopened as well.

There are also reports that the Mermentau River Bridge on U.S. Highway 90 may be opening soon or has already opened.
