In total, 64 of the animals shown at this year’s event were sold Saturday morning.
“I just want to thank everyone for coming,” said Megan Sarver, Acadia Parish 4-H agent. “I want to recognize our youth who did so well at the livestock show this year.”
Prior to the sale Saturday morning at the LSU AgCenter extension office in Crowley, Notre Dame senior Payton Zaunbrecher was awarded the annual scholarship in the amount of $1,500.
