Lost Rayne program Saturday at ‘Paco’s’

Believe it or not, Paco’s is re-opening for one morning this weekend on Saturday, June 25, at 7 a.m. to all Lost Rayne members.
Local historian Tony Olinger has a special program planned and wants to thank Dan Landry for allowing the use the old Paco’s building (200 block of South Adams Avenue) for this event.
During the program, former employees will speak about working at Paco’s, while pictures and a special treat that everyone will enjoy will be provided.
Anyone having Paco’s memorabilia and would like to share during the program, let Olinger know ahead of time to schedule.
Olinger is also working on a “Closest to Paco’s Biscuits” contest with several “experts” tasting the offerings.
This special event is for Lost Rayne members only. As the “wiser” Rayne citizens know, the area of Paco’s is not very big.
Olinger is hoping for a good turnout of history lovers, as he continues to have other Rayne history field trips planned in the future.
