Notre Dame High announces parade changes

Due to Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish’s Thursday, Oct. 31, afternoon homecoming activities coinciding with Halloween trick-or-treating, the school is announcing some changes to its parade route.

The parade this year will begin at Crowley Kindergarten. Participants must be in line adjacent to the school, facing Carmicheal’s by 5 p.m. as the parade will begin rolling at 5:30 p.m.

The parade will then travel north on Parkerson Avenue, turning east onto Northern Avenue and finally turning south onto Eastern Avenue into Notre Dame’s practice field for the Chili Cook-off and Trunk or Treat, hosted by Notre Dame students.
