Thursday evening saw a weather system moved into the area and caused extensive damage to a few businesses in the city of Crowley.
Particularly, the 1600 block of North Parkerson Avenue saw a brunt of the damage with signs being dismantled and window panes blown completely out.
Tree limbs and other foliage also were found all over Crowley roadways.
The system is said to have produced winds in the 30 mph range and higher blowing the downpour of rain to fall from the sky and be pushed westward.
