Sheriff's office investigating accidental death

Acadia Parish Sheriff Wayne Melancon announced that his office is investigating the accidental death of a 2-year-old that occurred in the 3300 block of Riverside Road near Jennings around 5 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
Melancon states that while few details are available, his office will release additional information as they become available.
