ASSIST seeks nominations for its board

The ASSIST Agency announces it will take nominations for a person to serve on its board of directors representing District II which encompasses Evangline, Iota, Maxie, Branch, Rayne, Church Point, Cankton, Higginbotham and Duson during a 5 p.m. meeting at the J&K Hope Center, 814 Holt Avenue in Rayne on Tuesday, June 23.
The election will following acceptance of nominees.
Participants must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the district and parish. Persons need not be poor to be nominated and elected.
