Chamber plans ‘Lagniappe day’ event on July 12

A citywide retail merchant promotion for all businesses hold a Rayne occupational license will be hosted by the Rayne Chamber of Commerce for their customers.
Businesses can participate either at their store or with a booth on The Depot Square on Saturday, July 12, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Participating businesses are being asked to pay $25 toward advertising in newspapers, radio and TV public service announcements.
The Chamber will provide a 10’x10’ or 8’x8’ booth space and tickets to give out to customers for watermelon slices and ice cream cups at Depot Square. Signage and flyers will also be provided.
Business will provide tent, tables, chairs, etc. to man the booths.
Participating businesses must register with the Chamber by 5 p.m. Friday, June 27, by calling 334-232 or emailing raynechamber1@bellsouth.net.
