Thanksgiving community dinner slated

The city of Rayne, along with the National Association of University Women (NAUW) and the Knights of Peter Claver invite local families to join them for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner on Thurday, Nov. 26, between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the Rayne Civic Center’s Ballroom.
A spokesperson explained, “We wanted to offer an opportunity for our community to gather, as well as feeding those less fortunate who may not be able to prepare their own meal.”
