Truck crashes into Dairy Queen

TRUCK CRASHES INTO RESTAURANT: A pickup truck crashed into the Dairy Queen Restaurant, located at 1320 The Boulevard, at approximately 6:33 p.m. Sunday, March 16. Rayne Chief of Police Carroll Stelly reports officers responding to the accident discovered a 2004 Chevy truck had jumped the sidewalk and went through the North wall of the restaurant before it came to a stop near the service counter. One female victim was transported by Acadian Ambulance with moderate injuries and several others victims had minor injuries. The investigation is continuing at this time and charges are possible.
