Visitation is from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM (service time) Friday, May 2, 2008 with a rosary @ 10:30 AM. Funeral service will be at Quirk & Son Chapel at 11:00 AM Friday, May 2, 2008 . Burial to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery of Prairie Ronde.

Berthaline F. Young

Berthaline (Fontenot) Young, age 96, of Chataignier, La., died Thursday, May 1, 2008, at Evangeline Extended Care Hospital in Mamou, La.

She is survived by One Daughter, Nedra Kerin & Jim of Lafayette, La.; one Grandson, Steve Kerin & Jane of Portland, Ore.

She was preceded in death by Parents, Evenus & Linda Miller Fontenot; Husband, Dillard Young; Brother, Rellum Fontenot; and sister, Eola Fontenot.

Visitation is from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday, May 3, 2008 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Chataignier.

Funeral service will be at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church at 11:00 AM Saturday. Entombment to follow at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Mausoleum in Chataignier.
