Christina Marie Schmid - Brantley Heston Yeager

Gregory and Donna Schmid of Crowley are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Christina Marie Schmid to Brantley Heston Yeager, the son of James and Ida Yeager of Rayne.

Christina is the granddaughter of Walter Schmid of Lafayette and the late Rose Marie Schmid and Clifton Istre of Crowley and the late Mary Istre.

She is a 2003 graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish. Christina obtained an Associate of Science Degree from Louisiana State University at Eunice. Currently, she is employed at Mayeaux Insurance in Crowley.

Brantley is the grandson of Viola Yeager of Rayne and the late Johnson Yeager and Carmen Girouard of Rayne and the late Louis Girouard. He is a 2003 graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish. Brantley earned an Associate of Science degree in Radiologic Technology from Louisiana State University at Eunice. He is currently employed at University Medical Center in Lafayette.

The couple will exchange vows during a 1 p.m. nuptial Mass officiated by Father Gary Schexnayder. The event will be held April 10, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne.

Following their wedding the couple plans to reside in Branch.
