Weather forces Jingle Bell Run re-scheduled

Due to inclement weather, the annua Jingle Bell Run has been re-scheduled for Jan. 11, 2014, and will be re-named the Jack Frost Run as announced by the Rayne High School Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) Club.

Race start times are: 1-mile Fun Run at 8 a.m. and 5-K Run at 8:30 a.m.

All participants will receive a t-shirt and pre-registered participants are guaranteed a t-shirt on race day. Race day registrants will receive a t-shirt as long as the supply is available. Others may be picked up at a later date.

Refreshments (cold drinks and fresh fruit) will be provided to all participants at the finish.

Pre-registration is $15 for 1-mile and $20 for 5K runners until Friday, Dec. 13. Race day registration is $20 and $25, respectively.

Awards will be presented in all age groups for the 5K race. Only first, second and third place overall winners will be awarded for the 1-mile Fun Run.
