Rayne Catholic Students Place During Social Studies Fair

Students at Rayne Catholic Elementary participated in the school's annual Social Studies Fair, with top placements qualifying for the Acadia Parish Social Studies Fair to be held later in the month at the Rayne Civic Center.
Among the 2013-2014 winners qualifying for the parish event were:
Division I: History - 1st place Hunter Miller, 2nd place Makenzie Olinger, 3rd place Tyler Cates; Geogrpahy - 1st place Nick Gautreaux, 2nd place Julia Blake, 3rd place Collins Reiners; La. History - 1st place Madison Monte, 2nd place Emma Landaiche, 3rd place Morly Traub; Anthropology - 1st place Lily Morgan, 2nd place Kate Schexnailder, 3rd place tie Gracie Mouton and Jack Himel.
Division II: History - 1st place Kayla Cramer, 2nd place John Daigle, 3rd place Wil Benoit; Geography - 1st place Riley Gautreaux, 2nd place Alex Prevost, 3rd place Elliot Hebert; Sociology - 1st place Haleigh Domingue, 2nd place Chase Habetz, 3rd place Hunter Terro; La. History - 1st place Thomas Ronkartz, 2nd place Wyatt Comeaux, 3rd place Holden David; Political Science - 1st place Zachary Fontenot, 2nd place Grant Douget, 3rd place Alex Roy; Anthropology - 1st place Ethan Comeaux, 2nd place Luke Cormier, 3rd place Kaitlyn Champagne; Economics - 1st place Caroline Comeaux, 2nd place Brandon Boykin.
