Mire, LA - Funeral services will be held at Assumption of the BVM Catholic Church, Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 2:00 pm for Mary Lou Faul Marks , 73, who died Tuesday, March 11, 2014 in Post Acute Specialty Hospital of Lafayette, Lafayette, LA.
 
Interment will be in the Assumption of the BVM Cemetery, Mire, LA.
 
Surviving are husband, Joseph Jerry Marks of Mire, one daughter, Lauria Marks Melancon of Mire, two sons, Chris J. Marks of Breaux Bridge, Curt J. Marks of Mire, five grandchildren, Joshua Melancon, Amber Melancon, Jamie Marks Meche, Wilton Marks, Jessica Marks, six great grandchildren,  two sisters, Margaret Faul Meche and husband Curley of Rayne, Cathy Faul Hanks and husband Don of Youngsville, one brother, Alvin J. Faul and wife Linda of Rayne.
 
She was preceded in death by parents, Maurice Faul and Lucille Marks Faul, one brother, Huey Faul.
 
A rosary will be recited Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 7:00 pm at Gossen Funeral Home, Rayne, LA.
 
Friends will be received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, LA. Wednesday, March 12, 2014 from 1:00 pm until 10:00 pm and Thursday, March 13, 2014 from 8:00 am until 1:30 pm
