Bernice Desormeaux Boudreaux

Rayne, LA - Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Friday, May 2, 2014 at 11:00 am for Bernice Desormeaux Boudreaux, 85 who died Wednesday, April 30, 2014.

Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2, Rayne, LA.

Mrs. Boudreaux was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her. She will be remembered for her strength, loving compassion and putting everyone's needs before her own.

Surviving are her husband of 67 years, Edward Boudreaux; two sons, Rodney Boudreaux and wife Deborah, and Glen Boudreaux; four daughters, Linda Braus and husband Daniel, Arlene Mathews and husband Jeffrey, Gayle Thibodeaux and husband Randall, and Lorraine Meche and husband Kevin; one sister, Verne Denais; 11 Grandchildren; and 16 Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Alice Viator Desormeaux; daughter-in-law, Nellie Boudreaux; sisters, Eunice Domingue, Una Chiasson, Unez Richard, Lula Chiasson, Lily Mae Lantier and Suzanne Champagne; and two brothers, Antoine Desormeaux and Francis Desormeaux

Friends will be received Thursday, May 01, 2014 from 1:00 pm until 10:00 pm & Friday, May 02, 2014 from 8:00 am until 10:30 am at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, LA. A Rosary will be Recited at 7:00 pm Thursday, May 1, 2014.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Paul Boudreaux, Kalil Joseph Boudreaux, Brent Edward Boudreaux, Eric John Marchand, Adam John Meche and Kenneth Serrette.
