NAUW Pageant contestants announced

 

The National Association of University Women, Crowley Branch, will host its annual NAUW Pageant Saturday, May 10, at 6:30 p.m. at the Ambassador Ministries reception hall located on Highway 90 in Crowley.

The pageant contestants will vie for the titles of Little Master NAUW, Little Miss NAUW, Little Master Tiny Tot and Little Miss Tiny Tot.

Students from the Tip Tap Toe School of Dance will present a special tribute to the royal court, followed by a green and white reception and door prizes.

This year’s pageant contestants include:

A’Myree Symone Boutte - A’Myree is the 2-year-old daughter of Symone Boutte and Travis Hawkins. She attends the Holy Temple of Deliverance and enjoys watching “Doc McStuffins” and drawing.

Destiny Zoe Jones - Destiny, who is 11 years old, is a student at L.J. Alleman Middle School and is the daughter of Hilda Jones. She attends Spirit of Liberty Church and she enjoys collecting toys for needy children, praise dancing and working with the nursery at chuch.

Ja’Niyah Ra’Von Moore  - Ja’Niyah is 8 years old and a third grade student at Ross Elementary. She is the daughter of Yvonne Mouton and Jonathan Moore and attends First Church of God in Christ. In her spare time she likes to sing, read, play soccer and collect dolls.

Emily Clair Morgan - Emily is 4 years old and the daughter of Tiffany and Joey Broussard. She attends Northside Assembly of God and enjoys playing with her cooking  set and her puppy, as well as playing the keyboard and accordion.

Malia Mott - Malia is the daughter of Tamara and Marco Mott and is 3 years old. She attends Rivers of New Life International Ministries and likes to sing, dance and ride her bike.

Lemuel Jones - Lemuel is the son of Hilda Jones. He is 12 years old and in the seventh grade, and he attends Spirit of Liberty Church. In his spare time, he enjoys reading his Bible, playing video games and singing.

DaJuan Maxwell - DaJuan is the 6-year-old son of Sierra Johnson. He is a student at North Crowley Elementary and attends First Church of God in Christ in Crowley. He likes to wrestle, read and play football.

Tyson Lamon Winbush Jr. - Tyson is the 4-year-old son of Morgan LeJeune and Tyson L. Winbush Sr. He attends First Church of God in Christ and enjoys playing on the computer and playing the drums.
