Germanfest Museum group hostesses at Atchafalaya Heritage Area Visitors Center

The Roberts Cove Germanfest Museum group had the opportunity to serve as hostesses at the Atchafalaya Heritage Area Visitors Center on Monday, May 5. Dressed in their original German costumes, the museum ambassadors greeted the many visitors, provided handouts and brochures and served “zucker platschen” (sugar cookies). Those serving as hostesses included, from left, Marietta Sikat, Dot Leonards, Corita Hoffpauir, Marcella Ohlenforst and Dot Leger.
