Baby shower honors Sonya

The home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gossen in Rayne was the setting on Saturday, May 3, 2014, for a baby shower held in honor of Mrs. Brandon Hussey of Rayne, the former Sonya Tauzin. The Gossen home was decorated in a a woodland theme.

Maternal grandparents-to-be are Nolan and Audrey Tauzin of Rayne.

Paternal grandparents-to-be are Claude and Tina Hussey of Rayne.

Hosting the afternoon courtesy were Crystal Granger, Candice Plaissance, Michelle Gregory, Tiffany Gossen, Vanessa Comeaux, Kathy Higgins, Kelsey Kinnion, Brenda Johnson, Felicia Richey, Aundrea Tauzin, Beth Lege and Amber Scannavino.

Guests were served meatballs, sausage, fruit tray, veggie tray, chip and dips, sandwiches, boudin, cookies and cupcakes, deviled eggs, brownies, spirals and punch.

The new family arrival is expected to arrive June 6, 2014.
