Lambert addresses Honors Convocation
The musical accomplishments of Crowley native and resident Hunter Jon Lambert were recognized by students and faculty of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette when he was asked to deliver the address at this year’s Honors Convocation, a great privilege for such a young man.
During the ceremony, which was held at Angelle Hall, the young performer was introduced by the university’s vice president, Dr. James Henderson, and performed several musical selections on violin and voice, including “To Where You Are,” Meditation from Thaïs, Vivaldi “Spring” and “Un Giorno Per Noi.”
He received standing ovations throughout his performance.
Lambert is the 17-year-old son of Jay and Sandy Doucet Lambert and is a rising senior at Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish.
