Pinac, Foreman engaged to be wed

 

Mr. Gil Pinac and Mrs. Phyllis Owens, both of Crowley, are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Andrea Claire Pinac of Crowley, to Christopher Michael Foreman of Rayne.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. A.B. Doré Jr. of Crowley, and Mrs. Patricia Pinac of Crowley and the late Mr. André L. Pinac Jr.

Andrea graduated from Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish in 2006 before attending Louisiana State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication disorders in 2010, and the LSU Health Sciences Center-New Orleans, where she earned a master’s degree in communication disorders in 2012. She is presently employed with Bay Area Speech-Language Learning Associates in Houston, Texas, as a speech pathologist.

The prospective groom is the son of Mr. Mike and Mrs. Christine Foreman of Rayne. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Pat Gautreaux of Rayne, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Marion Foreman of Crowley.

Christopher is a 2007 graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Louisiana State University in 2011 before earning a Master of Science degree in the same field, also from LSU, in 2013. He is currently employed as a propulsion engineer by Boeing.

The couple will be wed on Saturday, Sept. 13, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne. Rev. Kendall Faulk will officiate the 6 p.m. service.

Following their wedding, the couple plans to reside in Webster, Texas.
