Lafayette, LA - Funeral services will be held at Gossen Funeral Home Chapel, Friday, August 29, 2014 at 10:00 am for Veda Mae  Simon Davis , 84, who died Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at her residence in Lafayette, LA.
 
Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2, Rayne, LA.
 
Surviving are husband, Thomas John  Davis of Lafayette, four sons, Dr. Dale Constantin  and wife Christy of Spring, TX, Ray Constantin and partner Stephen Lege of Mire, Wayne Constantin of Lafayette, Brian David Constantin of Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin, one daughter, Dina  Rhymes of Breaux Bridge, one step daughter, Arlene Warnke and husband Dennis of Lafayette, many Grandchildren, many Great Grandchildren.
 
She was preceded in death by father, Andrew Simon, mother, Adonia Leger Simon, three brothers, Sidney  Simon, Whitney Simon, Andrus Simon, four sisters, Agnes Simon, Beulah Simon, Bernice Simon, Evelyn  Trahan.
 
A rosary will be recited Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 6:30 pm at Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne, LA
 
Friends will be received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, LA. Thursday, August 28, 2014 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Friday, August 29, 2014 from 8:00 am until 10:00 am.
