Wilfred “Dago” Leleux
Funeral services will be held Monday, Sept. 15, at a 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church honoring the life of Wilfred “Dago” Leleux, 97, who died Thursday, Sept. 11, 2014, at his residence. He will be laid to rest at St. John the Baptist Cemetery with Reverend Clint Trahan officiating the services.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Louise Leleux of Lyons Point; one son, Bryan Leleux and wife Jen of Walker; two daughters, Angela Legnion of Lyons Point and Pamela and husband Milton “Tiger” Killmer of Crowley; one sister; eight grandchildren, Caleb Glascock, Corey Leleux, Hanna Meaux, Haley Legnion, Leighton Killmer, Kaitlyn Killmer, Hanna Arceneaux and Callie Leleux; one great-grandson, Landon Meaux.
He was preceded in death by his son, Wayne Leleux; his parents, Clomere Leleux and the former Aspazie Trahan; two brothers; and one sister.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Sunday, Sept. 14, from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Monday, Sept. 15, from 8 a.m. until services.
