Vivian Lavergne Boudreaux
Rayne, LA - Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 1:30 pm for Vivian Lavergne Boudreaux , 71, who died September 15, 2014 at Pelican Point Nursing Home in Maurice, LA.
Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2, Mausoleum, Rayne, LA.
Reverend Father Michael Russo, Pastor of Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church in Lafayette, LA, will be the Celebrant of the funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services.
Surviving is her husband of 52 years, Lawrence Percy Boudreaux of Lafayette, two daughters, Nanette Bouvier and husband Jerry of Lafayette, Lisa Boudreaux of Lafayette, three grandchildren, Amber Foreman of Lafayette, Kasey Foreman of Lafayette, Alaina Bouvier of Lafayette, one great grandchild, Brilynn Foreman of Lafayette, two sisters, Edna Hornsby of Crowley, Barbara Cormier of Crowley, two brothers, Raywood Lavergne and wife Donna of Lafayette, Ronnie Lavergne and finance Linda Richard of Rayne.
She was preceded in death by parents, Lebodier Lavergne and Onezima Gautreaux Lavergne, two brothers, Leroy Lavergne, EJ Lavergne.
A rosary will be recited Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at 7:00 pm at Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne, LA.
Friends will be received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, LA. Wednesday, September 17, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Thursday, September 18, 2014 from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm.
Mrs. Boudreaux was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her. She will be remember for her strength, loving compassion, and steadfast faith in our lord. She was a retired teachers aid with the Acadia Parish School Board , and owned Kids Korner Children Boutique in Rayne, LA..
The Boudreaux family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Pelican Point Nursing Home, and Heart of Hospice and its staff.
