Allyson E. Brumfield

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church in Rayne for Allyson E. Brumfield, 27, of Rayne who passed away Friday, September 26, 2014 at 6:05 p.m. at Lafayette General Hospital in Lafayette.
Fr. Richard Wagner, Pastor of Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church will be officiating for the services on Saturday. A Rosary will be recited at 8:00 a,m. Saturday morning in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will be in the Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church Cemetery in Rayne.
The family has requested the visitation to be held Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 8:00 a.m. till time of service at the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne.
Survivors include her mother, Gwendolyn Brumfield of Rayne; her father, Willie Prevost of Franklin; her step father, Wilfred James Price of Rayne; one sister,  Jamie Lynn Price of Rayne; her paternal sisters, Toyreil Beverly, Chekarri Banks, Lella Prevost, Ashly Taylor, DeShonta Prevost and Gabrielle Prevost; her paternal brothers, Blandon Chatman, Wildrick Prevost, Joshua Parker, Willie Prevost, Casey Moore and Quinton Prevost;  her maternal grandmother, Linda Brumfield of Rayne; her maternal great grandmother, Wilma Julian of Rayne; her special aunt, Evelyn Julian of Crowley; her paternal grandparents, Ella and James “Tee” Hamilton of Franklin; her Godmother, Karen and Adrian King of Lafayette; her special cousin, Shellie and C.J. Rayford of Dallas, TX; Several Cousins, nieces and nephews and her aunt and uncle, Hollie Walker and Homer Daughbiny both of Franklin.
Allyson is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Jake Brumfield, Jr., her special uncle, John Tyrone Julian, her maternal great grandfather, Shelton Julian and her sister, Brittany Jenkins.
