Bernie was an unbelievably kind and generous man who supported and loved those around him. He was, most recently, a Regional Real Estate Manager for Fairway Outdoor Advertising after being with Lamar Outdoor Advertising for nearly 20 years.
He graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Arts in advertising and had minors in architecture, geosciences, and computer programming.
Bernie had a heart for animals and was seeking to combat Collie blindness. He was also an accomplished artist whose works portraying Louisiana Antebellum homes have been featured in galleries in the Baton Rouge area. Bernie was such a thoughtful and caring person and was a true treasure. His warm smile and gentle ways will be missed by all who had the pleasure of calling him friend.
