OneAcadia Chairman’s Update, Social Dec. 15 at Opera House

The OneAcadia board of directors has announced its first ever Chairman Update & Social to be held on Monday, Dec. 15, from 5 p.m. to 7 pm at the Grand Ballroom at The Grand Opera House.

The event is open to both Partners of OneAcadia and the public.

“We are celebrating our first year and our Partners who have enthusiastically supported this parish-wide endeavor,” said Chairman Pat Bordes. “While we will share some of the important groundwork we’ve laid to moving economic development forward in the parish, we will also simply being enjoying the company of our community during this festive time.”

The parish-wide economic development organization will feature vision and developments for the future of Acadia Parish at this inaugural event.

“We are focused on creating an environment for progressive growth in Acadia. We are creating an atmosphere for this event to celebrate that in a social setting,” said Laurie Suire, president and CEO of OneAcadia.

Suire also says that Partners will be able to renew their partnership and new Partners can enroll that evening.

“Support of OneAcadia through partnership is so important for the organization to continue its mission,” Suire said. “We hope that not only will our Charter Partners renew, but also will encourage others to embrace the vision.”
