Festival des Fleurs de Louisiane to benefit the Ira Nelson Center

Festival des Fleurs de Louisiane will be held again in Lafayette through the collaboration of the Lafayette Parish Master Gardener’s Association (LPMGA) and UL Lafayette’s Ira Nelson Horticulture Center.
The 2015 annual event will be held Saturday and Sunday, March 28-29, at Blackham Coliseum, 2330 Johnston St., in Lafayette.
Festival des Fleurs is not only a beloved garden show and plant sale, it is also part fundraiser, part spring celebration, part educational outreach and part horticultural resource.
The two teams will wow festival goers with loads of resources and activities with informational kiosks discussing new gardening techniques, unique vendors, innovative competitions, children’s activities, door prizes, and of course, the coveted plant sale.
