Marie Louise Primeaux Dunphy
CROWLEY – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 20, at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel for Marie Louise Primeaux Dunphy, 96, who died April 14, 2015, in Crowley.
Fr. Gary Schexnayder, pastor of St. Elizabeth Seaton Catholic Church in Lafayette, will be officiating for the services. The family is requesting visiting hours to be held Monday at 10 a.m. to the time of the funeral Mass. A rosary will be recited at 12:45 p.m. Monday followed by a eulogy. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
She is survived by three daughters, Sandra Frost of Fort Worth, Texas, Earline Baker and husband Bob of Fort Worth, Texas, and Kay Jones and husband Robert of York, Pennsylvania; one son, Frank Dunphy and wife Cherie of Chapel Hill, North Carolina; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Mrs. Dunphy is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Dunphy; her parents, Luke and Edith Judice Primeaux; one sister, Earline Primeaux; and two brothers, Ralph, and Howard Primeaux.
Pallbearers will be Brad Juneau, Joey Savoie, Grover Lee Dunphy, Robert Dunphy, Don Frost Jr., Mark Frost, Billy Primeaux and Terry Green.
The family would like to express sincere gratitude to all the caregivers who gave their devoted and loving care to our mother, and to Heart of Hospice. We would also like to thank Patti Lynn Richard and the bereavement committee and community of St. Michael’s Catholic Church.
