Debra Darlene Handy

Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 25, 2015, at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Temple Church of Deliverance in Crowley for Debra Darlene Handy, 61, who died on March 20, 2015, in her Washington, D.C. home.
Burial services were private.
She graduated from Crowley High School and earned her bachelor’s degree from Grambling State University and a master’s degree from Morgan State University in Washington, D.C.
She is survived by her father, Louis Handy, Sr.; her two brothers, Edward Handy of San Diego, Calif. and Louis Handy, Jr. of Rayne/Crowley; and her two sisters, Opal Handy Lusk of Houston, Texas, and Carol Handy Keel of Crowley.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Sarah Robinson, Handy.
