Heidi Daigle weds Carl Pettit

RAYNE - Heidi Danielle Daigle and Carl Michel Pettit were united in holy matrimony during an afternoon Nuptial Mass on Saturday, May 30, 2015, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by Reverend Father Neil Pettit. 
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Daigle of Rayne. Her grandparents are Mrs. Jacquelyn Wimberly Watson and the late Mr. Fred Earl Watson of Church Point, and the late Mr. and Mrs. John L. “King” Daigle of Rayne.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Pettit of Lafayette. His grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Marion Cortez of Lafayette, and Mrs. Barbara Pettit and the late Mr. Robert “Bob” Pettit of Lafayette.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore an Allure lace and tulle ball gown designed with a scooped neckline, off-the-shoulder cap sleeves, and a v-shaped back featuring a chapel length train. Her ensemble was completed with a delicate train of sheer illusion.
Maid of honor was her sister, Allison Daigle.  
Bridesmaids were Claire Arabie, Angelique Watson and Ali Broussard.
Junior Bridesmaid was Claire Watson, while Marie Arabie was flower girl.
Bridal attendants each wore a sleeveless, knee-length dress of unique pearl pink tone designed with a bateau neckline and full pleated skirt.
The groom’s best man was Scott Bordelon.
Groomsmen were Cody Vidrine, Jordan Viator and Ethan Guidry.
Junior groomsman was Henry Watson.
Ushering guests were Alan Arabie, Fred Watson, and Matthew Cortez.
Lectors for the ceremony were Tracy Watson and Fred Sonnier.
Offertory gifts were presented by Tammy Cuccio and Dorothy Perron.
Program attendants were Annie Watson, Sarah Watson, Hannah Bouillion and Alexis Cortez.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Petroleum Club in Lafayette.
Upon returning from their honeymoon, the couple plans to reside in Lafayette.
