Cornel Dale Banks

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 3, at 10 a.m. at Holy Temple Church of Deliverance in Crowley for Cornel Dale Banks, 51, who passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2015.
Pastor Bryan K. Minix Sr. of Holy Temple Church of Deliverance in Crowley will be officiating for the services. Final interment is entrusted to Wilturner Funeral Home.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Friday, July 3, at 8 a.m. until time of services at Holy Temple Church of Deliverance in Crowley.
Cornel was survived by his wife, Saprina Jones Banks; one daughter, Brihanna Banks of Crowley; one son, Nikkita Savoy (Chyna) of Lake Charles; seven step-grandchildren, Alaria Jones, Jai Jones, Gertie Jones, Lorenz Simon, John Simon, Jaivon Simon and Jahiem Simon; four grandchildren, Treasure Savoy, Trase Savoy, Nyla Savoy and Nikkita Savoy; two step-grandsons, Alarion Jones and Aaron Radke; two brothers, Tyrone Banks (Frederica) of Broussard and Keenan Banks (Susan) of San Antonio, Texas; three uncles, Brian Bates (Sharlene), Reyna Bates (Linda) and Joseph “Boogie” Charles (Ava); three aunts, Bettye Allen, Florence Brown (Dwayne) and Mary Lou Burke; one niece, Laura-Brooke Banks; one nephew, Dantonio Banks; and a host of relatives and loving friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Laura-Bell Banks.
