Wilda Thibodeaux Guidry

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, July 22, at 10 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church for Wilda Thibodeaux Guidry, 88, who died Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at 5:50 p.m. at Southwind Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Crowley.
Fr. Billy Massie, Associate Pastor of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours Tuesday from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Guidry is survived by two daughters, Suzette G. Gall and husband Joseph Gall of Egan, Johnette G. LeLeux and husband Patrick LeLeux Sr. of Lyons Point; one son, William M. “Bill” Guidry and wife Susan Guidry of Lafayette; one sister, Marjorie T. Connor of Mamou; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Guidry; her parents, Deluke and Ida Broussard Thibodeaux; three sisters, Dorothy Thibodeaux, Theola “Blackie” Hanks and Irene Prejean; five brothers, Dalton “Boddy” Thibodeaux, Deluke “Sonny” Thibodeaux Jr., John Thibodeaux, James “Buddy” Thibodeaux and Robert “Bobby” Thibodeaux.
Pallbearers will be Dale LeLeux, M.D., Todd LeLeux, M.D., Timothy LeLeux, John Pierre LeLeux, and Christor Guidry.
