Hoffpauir family slates reunion on Labor Day
On Labor Day, Sept. 7, the 50th reunion of the Hoffpauir Family Association will be celebrated at Indian Bayou United Methodist Church.
Among those to be honored will be living family veterans of Vietnam War and any vets not previously honored for service in WWII and Korean War. The Association will also recognize “Senior” Hoffpauirs (90 yrs.+).
The names of the veterans and those members who are 90 years or older should be forwarded to Elaine Simon, 783-7268, in order for certificates to be issued. The names of deceased family members who died in the past year should be provided to Association President Charlie Hoffpauir (281) 581-9151 for eulogies. The reunion will begin at 9:00 a.m. for those who wish to scan in family photographs or gain information about ancestors. A computer and scanner will be available for ancestry questions or copying photos.
The reunion meeting will begin at 10 a.m. 10:00 In Indian Bayou United Methodist Church. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. in Shirley Henry Hall (donations accepted).
