Reese Broussard

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28, at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Reese Broussard, 64, who died Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2015, at his residence.
He will be laid to rest at Nunez Baptist Cemetery with Pastor Lee Rodgers officiating the services.
He is survived by his son, Hilton Broussard and wife Addie of Forked Island; two daughters, Theresa and husband Randall Bourgeois of Kaplan and Jonie and husband Shawn Barras of Abbeville; three sisters, Joellen Stump of Texas, Hazel Touchet of Crowley, and Charlene Abshire of Abbeville; one brother, Herbert Broussard of Midland; nine grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and two step-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Broussard and the former Elia Louviere; four sisters; and five brothers.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Thursday, Aug. 27, from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m.; and again Friday, Aug. 28, from 8 a.m. until services.
