Fay Marie Leger Ledford

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for Fay Marie Leger Ledford, 61, who died Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 9:05 a.m. surrounded by her loving family.
Fr. Matthew Higginbotham, Pastor of Immaculate Heart of Mary, will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours Monday from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 8a.m. to 9:45 a.m. A rosary will be recited Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Duane S Ledford, Sr. of Crowley; two daughters, Beth Ledford Schefcik and her husband Travis of Crowley; Jackie Ledford of Crowley; one son, Duane S Ledford, Jr. of Youngsville; her mother, Ethel Leger of Rayne; four sisters, Ruth Ann Leger of Rayne, Myra Leger of Crowley, Cecile Leger of Rayne and Sheila Schexnaider of Abbeville; two brothers, Joey Leger of Jennings and Mark Leger of Rayne; four grandchildren, Brantley Schefcik, Gavin Schefcik, Olevia Schefcik and Samuel McGrew.
She was preceded in death by her father, Merton Leger; one sister, Claire Leger.
