Phyllis Arceneaux

RAYNE –– Funeral services were held on, Friday,September 11, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne for Phyllis Arceneaux, 77, who passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at 11:50 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette, La.
Pastor Melvin Finley, pastor of Assembly of God Church in Rayne, officiated for the services. Burial was in St. Peter Roman Catholic Church Cemetery in Carencro.
The family requested visitation be held on Thursday, September 10, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Visitation resumed on Friday, September 11, 2015, at 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
Survivors include two daughters, Donna and husband, Gene Alleman, of Rayne and Sandra and husband, Kurt Bellon, of Eunice; two sisters, Nell Menard of Rayne and Letie Guidry of Rayne; one brother, James Arceneaux of Rayne; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ms. Phyllis was preceded in death by one son, Clifton J. Arceneaux; her parents, Claude and Alpha H. Arceneaux; one granddaughter, Stevie Bellon; one brother, Joseph Arceneaux; and one sister, Joyce Melancon.
Pallbearers for the services were Randall Arceneaux, Shane Arceneaux, Dwayne Arceneaux, Calem Fontenot, Nick Bellon and Eddie Hodge.
