ROBERTS COVE –– A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 18, 2015, at Saint Leo Catholic Church in Roberts Cove, LA for Terry Dean Miller, 50, who died at 2:56 p.m. Monday, September 14, 2015, in Crowley, LA.
Fr. Mikel Polson, Pastor of Saint Michael’s Catholic Church will celebrate the Mass and the committal service will follow in the Saint Leo Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation may be observed on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. The Rosary will be prayed Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
Terry, a longtime resident of Crowley, was born February 21, 1965 in Jennings, LA. He was a 1983 graduate of Crowley High School. He worked for Acadian Ambulance and most recently with Total Safety. He loved to cook and entertain his family and friends and always provided laughter wherever he was.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred L. Miller of Crowley, LA; a son, Eric John Miller of Lafayette, LA; his parents, James Lubert and Sylvia Comeaux Miller of Crowley; three brothers Karl Miller of Youngsville, LA, Joe Miller (Cindy) of Crowley, LA and James L. Miller, Jr. (Peggy) of Crowley, LA; two sisters Charlotte Foreman (Ray) of Crowley. LA and Karen Miller of Lafayette, LA; his in-laws Mary Lee Leonards, Germaine Ropp (Myron), Leo Leonards (Anne), Mary Elizabeth Bourgeois (Jim), Bernadette Baronet (Bud) and Paul Leonards; and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Terry’s three brothers; Karl Miller, Joe Miller, and James Miller and three brothers-in-law; Ray Foreman, Paul Leonards, and Leo Leonards. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry’s nephews; Adam Foreman, Justin Foreman, Matt Miller, Nick Miller, Aaron Miller, Alex Miller, Jacob Miller, and Luke Foreman, and friends; John Olinger and Jay Domingue.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home of Crowley.
