Pancreatic cancer awareness vigil to be held at Our Mother of Mercy

Father Richard Wagner, S.J.J, pastor of Our Mother of Mercy, announces the church will host a pancreatic cancer awareness vigil from 6 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov, 21, on the church’s parking lot.
He said the vigil will honor all who have suffered and are living with the disease.
Father Wagner quoting from a poem penned by an unknown author, noted “Cancer cannot erode faith. It cannot shut down memories. It cannot silent courage. It cannot reduce eternal life. It cannot quench the spirit.”
